Roberto De Luna joined us for the August Natural Pursuits shoot. The home had a simple studio space with a big white wall, so while we gathered in the living room and kitchen (you can see candids from the day here), Roberto pulled us in one by one for portraits.
For today’s edit I wanted to highlight two things from those sessions. First, Roberto asked everyone to extend their arm. How they interpreted that direction is fascinating. Some gripped the wall, some let their wrists fall delightfully and appropriately limp.
I also chose close-ups of penises because 1) y’all like them and 2) the variations are endlessly fascinating.
Both gestures and bodies reveal their own interpretations of a theme. These images show how the same prompt and setting reveal the uniqueness in every subject.
