Natural Pursuits has always been about creating connections through art and nudity, wherever we are. This week, we’re opening the archives to share a few moments from our shoots in Tulsa, Los Angeles, Chicago, and Provincetown. Each city brought its own energy, and these photos capture just a glimpse of the magic.

In April 2022, Natural Pursuits was invited by Karl Jones, Ryan Fitzgibbon, and The Tulsa Art Fellowship to take part in “Queer Bodies—Collaborations on The Prairie.” Hosted in Josh New’s studio, this shoot marked a return to the prairie for our founder, Phillip Miner, a Kansas native.

Los Angeles, CA

Natural Pursuits held its first Los Angeles event in February 2023. We rented a studio and welcomed a group of strangers who came together to engage in a shared hobby, hanging out naked. Photos from that day were taken by Nick Rasmussen and Jack Manning.

In April 2023, we took over an industrial loft on State Street. With downtown buildings all around, we wondered how many people caught a glimpse of the day’s antics. The laughter and openness from that shoot exemplified Natural Pursuits’ spirit, captured beautifully by Michael Weinberg and Mikhayl Dominguez.

Provincetown, MA

On August 20, 2023, we held a shoot at Club Purgatory inside the Gifford House. People got naked and used the dance floor and pool table in ways they usually aren’t. Steven Azar, the owner, took the photos.
