Patrick “Plush” Arias was on hand to create photography at our July 15th shoot. Host, Jake Oswell, wanted to keep the crowd small, so we wrangled 12 people to spend the afternoon making friends and photography. Amidst the summer heat, Plush, a seasoned New York City nightlife photographer, got to work. No stranger to Natural Pursuits, Plush’s lens has graced the pages of our Dance Party issue and captured the action at the Inked release event.

Throughout this piece, you’ll find candid snapshots of everyone spending the day together and the portraits we made. To keep things interesting, we brought along some mylar because reflective things are aways fun to shoot. Plush quickly made use of it, adding it to a bright corner of room for portraits. Jake’s velvet furniture also provided the perfect backdrop for shoots, which seemed perfect given the photographer’s name is Plush.
