The price listed below includes airfare from Calgary to Lima, (prices will be altered for flights not originating in Calgary) domestic airfare from Lima to Cusco return, domestic transportation to and from trailheads, accommodation, transfers, permits, services and meals while on treks. Meals and alcoholic beverages while not on treks, sightseeing and other tours not on the program, and personal purchases are not included in the price.

Please remember that the price listed below is based on a certain number of participants and are based on currency rates and airfare rates today. Reduced numbers of participants, currency fluctuations, rising costs and changing travel conditions could result in having to modify the price and itinerary.

Trip Itinerary (Planned for August 31st to September 15th, 2006, $3095)

Day 1 - leave Calgary
Day 2 - arrive in Lima and fly to Cusco, familiarize with area and sightsee
Day3 - sightseeing around Cusco
Day 4 - acclimatization hike to Pisac Ruins
Day 5 - train to Machu Picchu, spend the day at the ruins
Day 6 - tour the Sacred Valley
Day 7 - preperation for Ausangate Circuit
Day 8 - travel to Tinqui, hike to first camp
Day 9 - 13 Ausangate Circuit, return to Cusco
Day 14 - rest day in Cusco
Day 15 & 16 - transfer to Lima and back to Canada

The above trip itinerary is subject to slight modifications depending on unforeseen circumstances once arriving in Peru. Please note that other than acclimatization hikes the rest/sightseeing days are free time. We will have a list of options available to choose from but they will be up to individuals as to how they are spent.
